In less time than it takes dedicated hiker and climber Shelby to introduce herself, she can tie a perfect figure 8 knot. 

"Hi I'm Shelby, and this is how I tie a figure 8," she says while swinging the rope around like a discreet lasso. "Now you try."

In the 6-second video, she manages to tie the knot with only the rope's momentum, and without using her hands. Quite the outdoorsy party trick. 

"Shelby you’re expecting way too much from me," _Rebekab_18 commented on the TikTok. 

"Shelby. It’s 2 pm on a Sunday. I can‘t deal with this level of stress right now," Skay added. 

Shelby is part of Backcountry, a TikTok page, and company devoted to hiking, climbing, and all sorts of outdoor activities. While I'd love to see how other members tie their knots, I doubt they could rival Shelby's effortless efficiency. 

As Boaz Durkin commented, "Listen, Shelby, the results would be very different if I tried."
